YF&R Achievement Award Finalists

This year's finalists are the best young farmers Louisiana has to offer -- the Rumbaughs, Kents and Natachia Stelly. These three finalists all hope to be named the 2017 YF&R Achievement Award winner. The winner will receive a $40,000 credit a vehicle purchase of their choice, will compete at the 2018 American Farm Bureau convention in Nashville, TN and will receive other prizes.

This week, we wrap up our series profiling each of the finalists for the 2017 Louisiana Farm Bureau Young Farmers & Ranchers Achievement Award. Our third finalists are Russell and Amelia Kent, representing Tangipahoa Parish. The Kents manage more than 300 head of commercial cattle, in addition to their 1,100 acre hay forage operation.
